.....I can't believe its been four years already. How time flies. But anyways, i still haven't updated since school started. Things have been a little hectic for me, because i ended up having more work than i expected. Its like the second or third day of school and i'm already doin hw during 1st and 2nd pd and lunch. I really love lunch this year, because i usually just go and hang out with the journalism class in the media center and either do hw or talk to amy about random shit. English is probably my favorite class though, although mr robb always makes me feel inadequate because my literary skills dont even come close to his. Like, his class seems like SUCH a step up from mrs storey's class. I dunno...
In other news, i'm quitting my job at ledos, because A) the pay sucks, and B) its a whole lot of work and you get filthy. For example, i just got home, and i need to take a shower. At least i have two large pizzas in my fridge that i didn't have to pay for. My last day's in less than two weeks. Another reason actually, is that i dont really have time for a job. With all the college shit plus school plus marching band, plus soccer, plus orchestra!!! GAH! Speaking of orchestras, I just got accepted into MCYO, despite half-assing my audition ridiculously. Like, the day before i was like, SHIT i have an audition, and was like okay, i need something to play. So i tore apart my house and found my solo and ensemble piece from last year, and played it a few times, then went to my audition. Somehow, it went pretty well, except for missing the high C on my chromatic scale (oops). Apparently it was enough, so i'm in, and so is amy, so we'll probably carpool. Good times. HRYO's first practice is tomorrow, and I'm SO EXCITED!!! We're playing Romeo & Juliet by Tchaikovsky, and Jupiter by Holst. OMG Jupiter has so many trumpet solos. My part is ridiculously exposed though, if i make one mistake everyone will know, especially cuz i play loud lol. And romeo and juliet has a sexy trumpet part too, although its not a solo. Cant wait, especially cuz our trumpet section is REALLY good.
So yeah, that's that. I need to go shower now so joe can pick me up for our date to baskin robbins. Quite different from my date last night......yeah.
