A day in the life...

If you bothered to look at the title of this entry, "A Day in the Life" was a really cool jazz tune we played my freshman year...i think. But i felt it would make a good title for this entry, for no reason in particular.

So, on thursday, I brought a chocolate cake that i had made to school. Story behind the cake: I was talking to katie williams on tuesday, and she mentioned that she had eaten cake for dinner. Naturally, that made me crave cake as well, so i asked her if she could bring me some. Unfortunately, she ate the whole cake, lol. katie sure eats a lot of cake for a person her size...i wish i had a metabolism like that. In any case, my cake craving continued through wednesday. So while talking to amy, i mentioned baking a cake so i could have some. She immediately asked me to bring it to school the next day so she could have some. So i was like "what the hell" and i brought a whole chocolate cake in a pink bag to school. We ate it at lunch, it was quite delicious. Katie had some too.

Today was a half-day, so school was rushed. Today also demonstrated how all the stress in my life, however miniscule it may be, comes from school and my parents ONLY. First example: this morning i had to turn in my physics permission slip before school started. So i got there as the first bell rang, and i was running all over the school getting signatures, and finally turning in the slip about 10 minutes into first pd. As i was in ms martin's room, i noticed that we had hw due the next period which i hadn't done. I also remember that i did not have a book with me. Being the resourceful guy that i am, i stole (actually "borrowed") a physics book from the secret stash in the back of the room, and did my hw during 1st pd. Originally that time was to be for Apex, but i got up at five in the morning to do that (example 2). Then i went to physics and band, which were ok. In english, i discovered that we had to do our research paper and turn in a rough copy in less than a week. I also learned about 50 notecards that i haven't done (example 3). Then we did our trial and lauren salisbury makes me want to shoot myself! Sigh...then in history i learned of several quizzes i had to make up (example 4). I made them up after school (example 6). And failed (example 7). Warren Harding (example 8).

I got home, and the parental stress began to flow. Actually my mom just told me that i couldn't miss school to take my driving test, so i'll end up taking it in like june instead of next week when they had an opening. Makes me want to burn something. Then she wouldn't let me go to andy's to play poker. Stupid bitch. So i played "Tropico" on my computer, which is a fun game where you're the dictator of a shithole island. Its fun. Then i had some fajitas (fuh-JEE-tuhs) for dinner. I then planned to go see sin city with joe. Amy tagged along to. I got to navigate, even though i couldn't see any road signs b/c i wasn't wearing my contacts. When we got to Snowden, the fuckers actually asked for ID, so i bought a ticket to guess who lol. Unfortunately, the bastards also patrolled the hallways and apparently put me on like a watch list. I was sneaking out and this guy told me "Are you the guy that they said to stay in theater 8? Lemme see your stub" So i was like "shit" and went back into the theather. It made me mad, so i stuffed my gum and ticket stub into their automatic ticketing machine. I decided that i want to throw the leftover pork at the theater. Then the three of us went to taco bell to get some drinks. After harrasing the lady at the window with our drink selection, she spilled amy's diet coke on joe, lol. We were planning on going back to the window and ordering food and then just leaving, but we decided not to. Joe was driving me home and i was like, "God i'm gonna be SUCH an obnoxious driver when i get my license" lol. Its so true though. But that's my day. A day in the life...
