Its FINALLY OVER!!!! (sad face?)

Today was your last chance to see River Hill's phenomenal production of West Side Story. If you missed it...shame on you, you're going to broadway hell. Since I was playing lead trumpet in the pit along with scuba steve, my lips are on the "severe pain" end of the lip spectrum. Six shows does that to you...i hope it doesn't take too long for me to stop sucking. In other news, I got contacts...although I've only worn them once since i got them; I never have time in the morning. Speaking of doing stuff in the morning, I made the mistake of shaving with a relatively dull razor, and it made my face hurt/cut my lip. Stupid shaving....the next invention that we need is something that replaces shaving....kinda like that "nair" stuff on TV. Something like soap or shampoo that you just massage on your face and the hair falls out. And it's not allowed to smell like ass, it has to have a suitably masculine scent. I guess you'd have to be careful not to spill it lol. Or maybe someone could invent "home radiation" lol. So many great ideas...

OH! I forgot! Last weekend was All-Eastern band weekend. It was much "boringer" than I expected, especially cuz i only knew a couple of people. My roommates were ok though, and by ok I mean not gay. The stoner trumpet player that was 1st chair orchestra in MD allstate was one, but he was actually pretty friendly. We also had two guys from New Hampshire. One was Brad, and he was really cool. He kinda reminded me of andrew sasser, mostly b/c he had the same hair and they both run cross country. THe other guy was Kevin, but he wasn't much of a people person. Anyways...it was pretty fun...kind of? We also had our HRYO concert while we were up there, which overall was on the lousy side. And I also made the mistake of pissing off the oboes by playing oboe cues on one piece, even though its what i've always done in rehearsal... Blonde oboe girls sure are easy to upset. For instance, this entry will upset at least one, I guarantee you. Now that i'm done making a point, I need to talk more about west side story.

So, opening night was fabulous; the cappies came and so did the Lt. Governor (i can't spell out Lt. lol). I think it was arguably our best performance out of all of em. Because my lips were actually still kind of un-mangled then. Friday's performance was not too hot...mr fischer was upset. Joe drove me home on friday...quite an adventure. You see, friday was joe's birthday, and the low brass brought him presents...in the form of a box of matzah and a bag full of pork. So as we drove out of the parking lot, we pulled up behind rhea's car and threw the pork at her car from ours. Unfortunately we didn't actually hit her car, but it was still hilarious. We then drove to freestate to get gas but it was closed at 11, which was retarded. So then we drove and picked up the pork that we threw, and now it's in my freezer, prepared for another pork bombardment. The matzah was distributed yesterday between the two shows. Also on friday, amy brought joe a pan of chocolate chip brownie kind of thing because it was his birthday. It was like chocolate chip cookies in brownie form lol. Anyhow, on saturday, during our first break, joe came upstairs to see mrs lather carrying the cookies back into her office. After a brief confrontation, joe won his cookies back. It was just really amusing that mrs lather broke into joe's locker with the master key and stole his cookies lol. Also, i peed in the water fountain. I went to go to the bathroom and it was locked, so i just told ppl to make sure it was clear, and then i pissed in the water fountain. In the process, rob spanked me with one of those "caution: floor is wet" signs lol. Last night we all went to the Double T diner, and i had apple pie and coffee. And the ride back was amusing, especially because we quoted anchorman a lot.

Ahh so many memories. Also, you'd never guess...but this journal will be one year old in two days!!!!!
