ALL STATE TOMORROW!
so i felt it in order to post an entry before my departure to hunt valley.....for ALLSTATE BAND!! woot. so i still need to pack...i think i'll do that tomorrow morning. But anyways i haven't updated in a while, so i'll sort of do a short recap on the week, cuz for me, its over.
tuesday was fun; it was mr fischer's birthday! and i brought my camera and took pictures, which are available by going to my picture site and looking at them. Also, during pit rehearsal on tuesday, the school caught on fire lol, so we had to evacuate for like 20 minutes. It was kind of funny actually, cuz i called my house and was like "hey mom, the school's on fire!" it was entertaining. Then i had hockey right after that, and we won 6 - 2 i think. It was fun, even though it was tiring cuz we only had one sub. tuesday night was fun, but i won't say anything more than zanzibar got his way ;). wednesday was ok, after school danny and angela and i went to my house and we made grilled cheese sandwiches (8 of them) and took them and other provisions to school before pit rehearsal. Viv came by too and had a sandwich, but she was sick :( so she didn't go to school or pit practice. So pit rehearsal went until 6...we went straight through the show but stopped at cool b/c of time. I am really getting confident with this music...frankly i don't think we're gonna need steve except for the one part of cool that has high Fs...there are only two other high F#s, and i can handle those pretty well. Unfortunately, not everyone can say that they're comfortable with this music...its frustrating this late in the game to have ppl missing notes and stuff. But after that was over, i had to go straight to drumline. THat was exhasuting, and when i got home i was so pooped i didn't even try to do hw.
So today's snow day really saved my ass. i didn't really do much though, and i have shitload of work to do sometime before monday. but i'll be havin fun at allstate tomorrow..see you all later
