Just got my newest TV Guide in the mail today and was reading thru the "Cheers & Jeers" section. Usually I agree with everything and other times it doesn't bother me too much if I don't, because everyone is entitled to their opinions, but this week 2 comments specifically bothered me

I respect your opinion, but as I was only able to submit a short jeer (of which they cut down, understandably due to space, but nonetheless), I thought I would explain myself. Firstly, I am most definitely watching the same show as you, according to your evidence against my argument.
"Out of the blue and rushed."
"Lois has been on the show for a few seasons now," is kind of a stretch. Sure, she was introduced in season four, which was, at the point of my jeer, half the series ago. However, she was only in half of that season, then half of seasons five and six, less than half of season seven, and then half of season eight. Also, my comment refers to the whole of the show (including Clark's job at the DP). What was out of the blue, was the sudden romantic interest between the two (in the spotty episodes she was in); they barely talk, and then we see them sharing long glances and jealousy?
As far as Clark's job at the DP, it, in it's existence, is rushed. I mean, Clark literally applied for the job (which we didn't even see), and then was at the same level as Chloe? Clark had BARELY any writing experience (which, from Chloe's comments in the past, is horrible), and it was from his freshman (MAYBE sophomore) year. Chloe, however, had to work her way into the job through dishonest means (RIP Lionel), then RECLAIM her old job, which was much more difficult than Clark's experience.
Hopefully my clarification helped.
Thanks,
Libby Munson
