"I can't believe I've been this hugely incompetent all this time..I never used to be, shit."

With that self derisive remark, William kicked Desdemona's front door open rather crudely and carefully went in.

"DESDE! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? WE HAVE THINGS TO DISCUSS!"

His shouts echoed through the entire place as he waited for some sort of response.

*Juudai's head lifted upwards as he heard a voice coming from somewhere in the house that didn't belong to Desdemona. Seeing his only chance, Juudai starts to call out as loud as he can*

Oi! HEY! Can you hear me!? HEY!

The house is empty. Empty of Desdemona and Corentine anyway. The back door was left open (allowing William to faintly hear Juudai's shouts), and there seem to be a few plants from the backyard left unchecked making their way in through the open door.

Outside is a wildly growing garden; thick darkened grass grown to chest height, and numerous flytraps and vines growing in every direction.

William grimaces almost immediately seeing the garden, and only grimaces further upon hearing that voice.

"Dammit..DAMMIT!"

He rushes towards the back door and flings it open, trying to find Juudai, materializing a futuristic looking pistol from nowhere.

*Juudai carries on shouting as loud as he can, in the hope that William can follow his voice*

A long thorny vine swings out to grab at William's pistol - before several more grab at his arms and legs. A dark, twisted version of Rose Tentacles rears up, trying to wrestle him to the ground before he can get to Juudai.

"Shit!"

Despite being lashed at by the vines, he begins pulling the trigger on the pistol, producing a number of pale blue energy shots which arc and twist towards the numerous vines making up the monster's limbs as if they have a mind of their own.

All of the vines are blown away and fall to the ground. The Dark Tentacles growls and slowly starts to spawn more from where William blew them off, seemingly effortlessly.

He doesn't just stand there and let it regenerate, he continues firing a myriad of the shots into the thing's body.

"Lay down and die, you waste of water and dirt!"

WHAM WHAM WHAM. The thing eventually takes one too many shots and just falls over and dies.

"That's what you get."

He immediately moves forward, trying to find where Juudai is in the twisted garden.

I'm over here! HEEEY!

*Juudai continues shouting to help William find where he is!*

William manages to stumble and shoot his way through the brush until he finds Juudai.

"Son of a... kid, what the hell happened, how'd you get like his?!"

Desdemona happened. She trapped me like this to keep me out of the way from what she's planning to do! We need to find her and stop her as soon as possible!

"...Dammit, I'm way late."

He shoots the vines holding Juudai in place so he can get free.

"...Do you know what she's trying to do?"

*Juudai drops to the floor as soon as the vines holding him are shot to let him free. Ignoring any injury he sustained from the vines, he instantly picks himself up and breaks the vine holding Yubel's card, in order to break her free as well*

She said she was going to make it so that no one can leave or enter the city, in order to protect it from "invaders" and "killers". She honestly seems to believe that this is for the good of the city and that it'll make everything peaceful... but all it's going to do is cause more problems!
