Advice on the Subject of Hooters Waitresses

Jun 13, 2011 13:41

This space of the internet has changed in purpose over the years. First it was for a roleplay thing, then a countdown to leaving GA, and more recently another out let to cyber stalk people's lives without actually having to talk to anyone or ask any questions. This is going to be it's new purpose, advice for my son.

So, Riley, here is my first piece of advice. You won't really need it until much later in life but it's one that I had to learn. I hope I can spare you this lesson if you listen. Do not date a girl that works at Hooters. For that matter, add in any woman that uses their sexual appeal to sell something. They're so used to seeing men as means of income they can't separate that from their lives. Even if they don't work there and then start after you've met, cut ties. Literally nothing good can come from it and the novelty of saying "My girl works at Hooters" wears off very quickly.

You may want to take the arguement of "But Dad, it's just a job." No, son, it isn't. Hope you'll listen to this instead of trying to figure it out on your own.
