I'm sitting here in a basement in Calgary, and in 30 days I will be employed in Edmonton! And we will have the keys to a new place in Edmonton! And I will be sooo broke from paying two rents: Red Deer AND Edmonton, AND the damage deposit for the new place. All at once. Oy vey. Though if I'm careful, I can pay off last month's visa AND pay for most things this month in cash with my October (as in got it yesterday) paycheque. We shall see. This bold plan will require frugality in regards to lunches and dinners out. As well as in regards to clothing purchases. But here is my motivation: by after Christmas I'm sure I will have lost at least a dress size, if I keep excercising, so will buy myself something pretty on Sale on Boxing day. That's a moderate length goal for me: 8 weeks.
Holy poop, December will be expensive!
!!!!
I now understand why Annick is mentioning not-too-expensive ideas to get her for presents. I want to shower her with gifts, but I know she would like less expensive, heartfely ones just as much. So I just need to find a $60 KitchenAid or le Cruset set. hahah no. Since she reads this, no hints will actually be dropped.
Ok, so I just did a rough budget estimate for the next 2 months and I think, THINK, that by the end of December I should be done the game of starting the month with a big visa bill (In other words, I will finally earn more in a month than what I accumulate in expenses and months-previous expenses!) Then, I can use credit as an OPTION, not a need! If I live frugally. I need to tightly watch my expenses!! Can I make it work???? We shall see.
I'm off to pack and get ready for bed. I have a big, busy day tomorrow!
