Yoga # 44

Last week was pretty bad for yoga.
I spent the weekend at my parents' house. Saturday I got up at 7:30 to go for a jog. Mom took the dog out a few minutes before I left. I knew where they were going, so I jogged up the trail to the Cherry Street park thinking I might run into them, and I did! It was fun to say hi. I passed them as they were finishing up the park's loop, and then again after I finished the loop and they were leaving the park (Cliffy usually goes slow and sniffs a lot). I headed off in a different direction, and Mom said Cliff really wanted to go with me and she had to drag him on. Then, a block and a half or so from the house, I passed them again on Main Street, and this time Cliff wanted to run! Mom gave me his leash and we ran most of the way home together. The last half a block, Cliff seemed tired so we just strolled. He looked so happy running, though. It was nice to jog with a friend, even just for a little bit.

I desperately needed to get back on my yoga schedule this week. Go me. I also did around five minutes of weights. I need to remember to change the Anoushka Shankar playlist, too, the last song is completely not okay for sivasana and I forgot to change it before.
