groceries a go-go
there's a natural foods store 2 towns away that closed today.
spiderwebbeauty and i hopped on the 403 to take advantage of the 70% off sale. unfortunately i left 1 minute too late... but fortunately she had gotten on a few stops before me and told the bus driver i was on my way. :-) what a nice bus driver.
i got things that i normally wouldn't have bought due to the price. for quite a few years now i've wanted to get ginkgo extract but i could never get up the nerve to pay that much for it. at 70% off, it was just the right price for me. also, i picked up 6 bottles of vitamins. they're good til 2008. i should really start taking vits. this was the kick in the pants i needed. i'm sure i'll feel better than i currently do.
got 3 bags of powdered sugar, 2 cartons of chocolate silk, 8-10 packages of deli meats, barley malt syrup (never used it before, but i'm sure i can find a use. probably in things that are supposed to be more savory than sweet) got some face toners and toothpaste and 5 bags of frozen cherries. yum. and some other random stuff that i won't bore you with. good thing i brought the fart cart. i packed it to the gills.
