(no subject)
Monday, I was off from class & work and Tonya, Roy, Christine and I went canoeing on the Brule. Roy and I in one canoe, Tonya and Christine in the other. Within an hour, they had flipped their canoe and Tonya and I got back into the freezing water to see if we could locate Christine's glasses. We didn't. I'm planning to go back again and try part of the river that has Class 2 and 3 rapids. Roy and I are really good at canoeing, so it'd be fun.
Went on a quick getaway yesterday after class to Duluth to meet Roy, we stayed there and I drove back early this morning for class (damn class). Had fun, saw "Ghosts of the Abyss" at the Omnimax theater. We saw "Nascar" at the same theater a few weeks ago and had made a mental note to go back to see the "Abyss". We had Mexican food for an in between lunch/dinner at this really great place. Yum. Roy makes really good money and he doesn't mind paying for things so much now (used to be, I paid for more). Which is good, because I've been rather broke for this beginning of the summer.
We went to Petco and I got Melanie a rawhide even though they aren't the best for dogs. She's a regular rawhide bone monster. She hasn't quit chewing on it since I gave it to her half an hour ago.
