Music Lately
so yah, the last few days ave been treating me pretty good. we got all of our new material done for the summer. we worked really hard. 8 new songs in 3 months. we're finishing booking some shows for early in the school year. hope to see people there.
so yah, me and martin decided to go to a show tonight. some no name band, split the enemy, incite was a special guest, autumns end, my ruin, and bleed the sky. I had my opinions before i went to this show. i never have liked my ruin, and i abosolutely hate split the enemy. they are the biggest a7x ripoff ive ever seen. but anyway...... we got there right before split the enemy. we hung by the bar and watched the set. then we found out incite was playing. i got pretty excited cuz ive seen them a few times. it turns out cameron, mark and abby were there too. so we saw them. then i saw julia, jade, and brittani off in the corner, and julia was giving me a devil look....... big surprise. so yah, when incite came on, i started moshing. i moshed for most of the show. then after incite was who i really wanted to see, autumns end. i never get tired of seeing them. they were awesome, and i moshed my ass off during them. then my ruin came on, and i sat out for that. i didnt like them before i saw them, and now that i've seen em, i hate em. her voice doesnt even go with the rhythm. and the guitar player is the biggest rip off of slash ive ever seen. even his posture...... then he had the nerve to do the Zakk Wylde thing and put it behind his head, and he fucked up, it was funny. so they went off stage, and Bleed The Sky came on. i've always loved that band. they are incredibly good. so we went crazy for them. after the show i got to talk to chris again. he said he got my e-mail, and they want us to open for them since our styles are very similar. but it has to be later in the year, cuz they're gettin ready to do their new cd. so we're gonna book a show with them before they go on tour. so look for that!
So, my last bit of music news, not that many of you will care, is that Mushroomhead realeased their new music video yesterday. its so kick fuckin ass. that band has so much damn talent, its beyond belief. after seeing that video, im dieing to go see them again. only 20 more days. its gonna be great.
