 18 tests to go.

I was accepted into the ICU Nursing Course for the Army, which starts in November. I'm thrilled, save the fact that Phase I of this is 4+ years of nursing school crammed into 11 modules, amped up on speed. It's slow going with the online course, but at least I can go at my own pace, on my own time. Don't think I could manage a scheduled class when I'm at work from 6pm-8am almost every night.

I do enjoy coming on LJ and catching up on you all though :) Makes a nice break...

Here's what's up for now:

Finish Module on Cardio Pts
Take Cardio A&P Review Test
Pack up office
Finish packing kitchen, bedroom, and bathrooms
Reserve U-Haul
Pick up more boxes
Research flights for the dogs to get back to WA in Nov
Take Tshirt designs for family reunion to printer
Make Appt with Balfour Beatty to schedule key pickup/lease signing
Schedule Diagnostic APFT
Contact JAG again

Our move-in date for the new house is Aug 22nd. It's a brand new 2-level, just being completed on post. Our next door neighbor will be a girl from my floor, which is awesome. It's so close to the olympic sized pool, a gas station, and a track, but not too much else... which I think I like. There won't be much traffic, and the speed limit is 15mph anyway, so not much noise. I think on post living will be quite the change. I won't have a target right down the street, they are VERY strict about speed limits, and it's... on a military installation. Let's hope I don't feel too Army :) I like to avoid that if I can....

In other big news, our Honeymoon is coming up! I'm sure you all remember what happened to our Puerto Vallarta trip afer the wedding (Eric forgot his passport). That won't happen this year, since I'll be the one packing. We're going to the Bahamas on a cruise, then spending some family reunion time in Walt Disney World. Eric should be deploying in October (at least that's the news for now), so it's our last big hurrah. He's working more than I am right now, so I'm trying to muddle through all of this craziness of moving by myself so he can focus on work. Guess that's the sarifice we make...

Not sure exactly when, but I should be scheduling a quick trip up to WA to drop off our puppies in nov. I can't take them to my course in San Antonio, and with Eric gone, can't leave them here. Meh. I need to get up to WA anyway to change my name on my license!

That is all :)
