WOW I've sure taken my sweet time in updating here, haven't I?!?
Life in the DC has really been chaotic, hence my lack of postage here. So much is changing, and even more is right on the verge of change. Let's start with wedding stuff:
Plans are coming along, almost everything is set in place. I'm getting more excited everyday! I think there are only 35 days left! HOLY CRAP! We've been getting a lot of RSVPs, and I'm looking forward to seeing all my loved ones. I feel like I haven't seen my true friends in years...
... which brings me to my next point- lack of true friends here has really put a damper on my time here. There are no people that I really connect with, except the one that finally just moved out here *thank GOD*. My roomie has been reliable and great as far as roommates go, but has really screwed me over as a friend, so we're moving out at the end of december. Here's the timeline:
Dec. 22- wedding
Dec 23- go to Puerto Vallarta
Dec 28- Fly to Spokane
Dec 29- Fly to Nashville
Dec 30- Bridesmaid in Eric's sister's wedding, fly home right after
Dec 31- Move out.
Yeah. What a honeymoon! At least we get a few days in Mexico before the next wave of chaos.
The latest news is that I will be living up here until March, when I move to El Paso, TX to live with Eric. Now, that was supposed to happen in January, so who knows if it will actually happen in March even. I'm pissed because they've been stringing me along, and I really think the only reason they're keeping me here beyond Jan. is a show of power. There is no personnel reason to keep me here... my replacement is already being trained. Freakin Army.
