i am a bad pet owner

so, i was pissed off at my bird for waking me up at the crack of dawn
so i yelled at her all morning.
she has this newly acquired habit
of walking up the closet door in my room,
and then jumping on top of the top shelf of the closet,
which is off limits for her
because it has my stuff up there

being really pissed off at her
for being a little bitch all morning
i pulled her off the closet door
which resulted in her little toe getting sliced
i didn't notice until i saw blood all over the place

i finally got it to stop bleeding
but i feel really bad about it
because she is just a bird
but she's doing okay, so that's good
i just need to wash off her foot every so many hours.
