Fourth Wall Event? I hope it doesn't involve any costumes. I didn't think I would be doing any hosting while I was here...

Oh ho? Who might you be, my love?

Fujioka Haruhi. I recently arrived... somehow.

... My love? Oh, are you a host as well?

Hardly. Johnny would never make a woman pay for his company. I was openly admiring you.

You were pulled here, Miss, like all of us. You're japanese, then?

I see. I'm surprised you can tell I'm a girl.

Pulled here? I suppose, if that's the explanation. My name is Fujioka Haruhi, I'm a first-year scholarship student at Ouran Academy. And yes, I'm Japanese. Are you as well?

I've an innate eye for beauty, my lady. Male or female. I've also had a lot of experience with people who were not as they first seemed.

I've been to the Japanese colonies on my world, but Johnny is American, Miss Haruhi. I'm skilled in the japanese swords arts, I can say that much. I'm afraid your race is rare in 2180.

As for where this place, Discedo, is? We don't know. If you look up, you'll see two moons. Your guess is as good as mine.

It sounds like gender isn't important to you. I can relate to that.

Japanese sword arts? Perhaps you should meet Mori-sempai. He's very renowned for kendo.

2180? What are you talking about? It's barely even the new millenium.

It used to, but...Well, many things have changed.

I'm a master iadoka, myself. Successor to the Uncho Shihan Jikiden.

You're already on another world, is the matter of people coming from another time so hard to swallow, my beauty?

That sounds impressive.

When you put it like that, I suppose not. Still, it would be nice to find some logic, but at this point I'm pretty accustomed to chaos. So, then, 2180. Has tuna gone extinct?

Hardly, my lady! The sudden reduction of the human population and switch to pollution free energy has caused the planet to bounce back rather quickly. Much of society has returned to being rural, you see.

That sounds nice. To be rural, I mean. Everyone I know is very materialistic.

Johnny robs from the corrupt elite, Haruhi. The Jellyfish Pirates always give to the poor. If we don't look out for them, no one will.

Corrupt elite... I think that's giving them too much credit.

Would that make you rich?

You have to understand, my lady. We keep enough to maintain our airship and afford supplies for keeping us going. The rest all gets funneled to various impoverished areas and charities.

But we're rich in spirit!

That sounds very noble. I wish more people spent their money so charitably, rather than waste it making synthetic beaches.

...Who the hell would do that? Why would you make a syntheic beach? Beaches are on every shoreline!
