Too bad they don't take relation into account when assigning the rooms. Then we'd at least be dealing with a familiar annoyance at worst, and someone cool at best.

You might be right... but still, some of the matches are just doomed to failure. Even I find Niou-san insufferable sometimes, and I'm more tolerant of people than Yuushi.
