(no subject)
i cooked and cleaned today
i totally kick ass
i cleaned:
sink
toilet
shower
kitchen table
counters
floor
stovetop
that doesn't sound like a lot, but boy, if you had seen the place before, or if you knew how long it had been... and chrissy cleaned the living room! and did the dishes! and 3/5 of our apartment looks beautiful!
and then i cooked. oh, did i cook. I made the most delicious butternut fucking squash that I ever ate. and then i toasted the seeds and we scarfed them down like fucking delicious pumpkin seeds. and i marinated some chicken in lemon pepper herb stuff and that was great and i steamed some green beans and carrots with rosemary and then we FEASTED. and then popcorn. and shaun of the dead. a very successful day off!
tomorrow, going to dinner at my mom's! and then to see opening night of my girl amandizzle in beauty and the bizzle. YEAH.
life is good.
i do wish we could have some sunshine though. I am almost getting tired of playing cards and using watercolors with the kids. but seriously, god bless libraries.
