Long time, no see, people! I've just had no time for icons due to school and tests. I've been studying for 'em all the time and all I got we're B's from every single subject. I guess that's okay. But now to the tutorial!

As usual, you gotta have a base, here's my autumn-inspirated base:

step 1:

First duplicate your layer, set it to Soft light and then go to Image>Adjustments>Auto levels. You should get a picture with nicer colors and stuff. I got this:

step 2:

Now go to Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast... and play around. I set them like following:
Brightness: +10
Contrast: +15
Then merge layers. I got this:

step 3:

Add two new layers. Fill the other one with #29587D and set the layer on Exclusion, opacity 100%. Then fill the other one with #CECECE and set the layer on Color burn, opacity 100%. I got this:

step 4:

Now duplicate the base and drag it on top. Set it on Overlay or Soft light (opacity 100%), however you want. It really depends on your picture and the Overlay went better with mine. Merge layers. I got this:

step 5:

Create yet another layer, fill it with #FAB761 and set it to Multiply, opacity 20%. That gave it a little more color. Merge layers.

And we're done!
