(no subject)
So I'm still a slight bit sick, mostly a (gross) cough. I finally got out of bed today because I had a very important show to go to. I finally saw Loreena! It was awesome, and my 4th row ticket ended up being a 2nd row ticket. This was at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor, so some of you probably know what I'm talking about. I was 2nd row on the right. Anyway, earlier in the day sucked! I developed a rash aronud 1AM. Every time I went to look at it, it was worse and worse, and around 8:30AM I almost passed out a few times. So I went to the doctor. Turns out it was no big deal, urticaria, which is basically like hives, and it goes away after a day or two. But in the meantime, I pretty much looked like Freddy Krueger. So I got some over the counter medicine, slept for a while, then got up and somehow made it to the show. The rash had spread to my face (!) and neck before the show, plus I had the chapped nose and lips from my cold, so I'm sure I looked awful, but whatever. The setlist was perfect. I passed her outside after, but didn't say anything. I will next time though! I only wish that my shows were sooner because for a while there was a huge market for her tour-exclusive DVD/CD (it'll be in stores, but not til the fall) and now not so much. I planned to buy one or two and sell it to pay for my merch, I had made a killing off the Sarah Brightman tour CD, but I don't think it'll go so well this time. I'll probably still try it though. I wish I wasn't so sick lately; I still have to plan out my Kalamazoo/Chicago trips and I'll probably only have about an hour or two to do it, which is plenty of time but it sucks to feel rushed.
