Without getting into too much detail, which will either piss people off or make me look bad, here we go with my Texas trip/Aiden shows...
There were a lot of ups and downs. Like, extreme highs and lows.
Where we stayed for most of the nights was completely different than anything I've ever experienced, which isn't a good thing or a bad thing, it was just different. I felt like Paris on The Simple Life. It was a slightly unfinished house in the middle of the country (about 20 minutes of a drive from the city) with about 14 people living in it, mostly kids.
I got to try drums, mainly double bass! Karol, you're right, it's impossible, lol.
Jake W. from Aiden was being super shitty (in my opinion) and he was always amazing to me, but the rest of the guys were the same or better (to me). I saw way more of wiL than I'm used to, some good, some bad, some weird.
I made out with two people. Okay, now I'm dipping into the part that could potentially make me look bad, but who these people were is a very strange turn of events. I will say that one of them is only 18! lol, it was so weird to find that out and the last time (yes, there was more than one time, long story) he tasted like an oatmeal raisin cookie, it was absolutely amazing.
Two of the Aiden guys plus their merch guy are now vegetarian. It's exciting. All I can do around Angel and Troy now is talk about food and/or share food. But at least I now have something to talk about. It grosses me out though because Angel and wiL both like to drink milk.
I worked three of the shows for PETA. It was awesome.
I got to go in a bouncehouse, which I've been dying to do (again) for years. It was in the play area at a Sonic.
I also got to play on a playground at a nice park, which was fun.
Not fun was missing all the tourist stuff we were supposed to do, and being late for work.
The best part of the trip was probably the vegan restaurants. I got to go to the Spiral Diner TWICE (with the second time paid for by the awesome/sweet/adorable PETA guys). The first time I had the Philly cheesesteak (Texas style with BBQ sauce!) and potato salad (didn't like the potato salad, but didn't really expect to). And I also got to try the "ate layer burrito" and a chocolate chip cookie. The next day I had the VLT (like a BLT), corn chips, and a cookies 'n' cream milkshake made with chocolate ice cream and mint sandwich cookies. And I also got to try the BBQ san'ich which was very similar to the Texas style Philly cheesesteak.
I also got to go to Tien Ren, which is a vegan Chinese restaurant with a buffet. This was my first time at a Chinese buffet. It was great, I just wish we had more time and/or were there when the guys (two from Aiden, and two from PETA) were there. Oh, and I also wish there was more "meat" on the buffet.
It's cool because I came home to having fun with Amanda (we actually agree on the 18 year-old being hot, and we never agree on guys) and we seem to have some newfound cleanliness rules.
