Wasp.
When I pulled into my driveway after work and started to unbuckle my seatbelt, I felt a sharp jab right on my chest. I didn't know what stung me, but I instinctively smacked at it and the stinger remained between my fingers. It hurt a LOT. I went inside and tried to remedy it a bit, but nothing helped completely.
Took Walter for a walk, every brush of my shirt against the sting site hurt. Got home, and on the floor was a small yellowjacket. Clearly the culprit! Every year at work, yellowjacket wasps set up a nest by our back door. Somehow one must have flown into my blouse - it was billowy, plenty of room.
It STILL hurts and my head aches. I would not recommend.
I'll also be having a conversation with my boss about maybe actually having the wasp's nest removed. Earlier this week we had an agency cookout with a community partner. Imagine if one of the guests had been stung.
