big changes this spring. big changes.
this is the first time i can really say that i'm happy living where i'm living.
extremely happy.
i love the city and i love feeling like i'm a part of the world. it's the perfect place for me and i honestly couldn't see myself anywhere else.
i want to get an apartment really badly next year, but because i was considering transfering, i missed out on good ones with good people. i'm going to try hard though because i probably won't get housing. maybe i'll live with evan. how funny would that be?
my friend amy's apartment is a 2 bedroom on beacon hill and it's really cute and i could imagine evan and i living there. it's tiny, but cute.
i would rather live in a huge ass house in allston for cheap with tons of friends and tons of dirt and cereal, but that will happen later on in life, and things will be awesome.
ps. i'm staying at suffolk for next year, and i couldn't be happier about that.
it sucks that just at the end of this semester is when my group of friends is really clicking together and we're becoming close. i have 3 really close girl friends. amy, brittany, and caitlin. and emma of course.
emma is going home next semester and then probably to columbia college in the spring. she's the best girl ever and i'm going to miss the shit out of her. my first friend here ever.
amy reminds me of tania. she's really cute and funny and high energy. and very nice to me. she is in my a cappella group and is the music director. matt broggini has met her and they had a lot of fun together. she's a performing arts major.
brittany is the funniest girl i've ever met. i laugh more around her than anyone in the world. pretty much everything i say and do that is funny comes from brittany because i spend too much time with her. brittany is also in my a cappella group. we met at auditions and we sing the same parts all the time. brittany is a theater major.
caitlin i met through brittany. she's a very very very good dancer and actress. she's from ct. she has bright red hair and it's really cute. she's also hysterical. brittany and caitlin live in an awesome apartment on beacon hill together. it's really messy but that's why i love it. at night we sit around and smoke weed and drink wine and download shitty shitty hilarious/amazing songs on brittany's computer and act them out.
i have other good friends, like jay and john. they're in a band together and even though i don't get to see them way often, i love them to death and we've had a lot of fun together. their band is playing in ct this summer and they're going to stay with me and play with my puppy and eat pancakes.
amy just got a new apartment and last night we sat around all 4 of us on her bed, ordered chinese food and talked and laughed forever. it felt so comfortable and reminded me of home so much.
at first i was really discouraged by the city and the people here. i felt like i was never going to be able to establish good relationships with people just because of the way my school is.
i am doing well in school and this semester i should be getting awesome grades. i have my last final tomorrow for art history which i'm not worried about much at all.
friday my mom is coming to bring all my shit back to ct. and friday night i'm going to move into caitlin's room because i will be living there for a while. my a cappella group is recording and i have to stay in the city until tuesday. i'll probably stick around for another week afterwards just to hang with everyone.
and then i will be back in portland
with stella. apparently she's the cutest dog in the world. WHICH IS AWESOME.
AND YOU GUYS HAVE TO COME OVER AND PLAY WITH HER.
other than that, not overly thrilled about getting a job and living at home. but you have to do what you have to do.
and for me, that's make a shit ton of money.
i miss you guys and i'm glad we'll all be back together again this summer.
i can't wait to just be in a car with bro and tania again and wanting to kill matt broggini for singing too loud, but loving him so much for it.
oh well. see you very soon. i hope you're all doing fucking amazingly well.
and i can't wait to talk to you in person and tell you everything about everything.
