Yay! This is my first post here. Now that I have a working digital camera, I hope to post more often. My cooking motto is "fast, easy, and whatever happens to be in the fridge". Anyway, it's a cold yucky day so I made chowder.
3 unpeeled medium potatoes, cubed
1 1/2 cup water
1 can condensed cream of broccoli soup (don't add liquid!)
1 1/2 cup milk
1 cup sour cream
2 cups grated cheese
1 packet garlic herb soup mix
1 dash pepper
1 - 2 cups chopped frozen broccoli
Boil the potatoes in the water until they are soft and the water boils down. If there's extra water, drain it. Add everything else and mix it together. Cook on medium heat for five minutes stirring occasionally. Cover and cook on low heat for ten minutes.
You can play around with this using different "cream of" soups, cheeses, spices, veggies, meat, etc. I added leftover Christmas Ham. :p
