(no subject)
Lots of things have occurred since I've had the time to write in this thing. I just don't find the internet as entertaining as I used to...I guess it's that damn MySpace. All right- here's the rundown of events.
Sept 4-6:: My cousins, parents, and I had a little roadtrip to Las Vegas. It was my first time in the city & it was petty cool...not as "grand" as I expected everything to be though. We stayed at Caesar's Palace and I was really impressed with their Garden of the Gods (It was an area with 7 huge, ancient looking, and really BIG pools. Good weather for swimming. Lotsa creepy, hairry European guys too). We had a room in the newly completed Augustus Tower & the bathroom was HUGE! There was a flat screen in there!!! My only complaint was that the toilet was in the bathroom in its own little room without a lock & fan....mmhmm. Overall, interesting trip (I swear I spotted the real life Kip & Lafawnduh!!!!) but "you gotta be 21 to have real fun!" (yeah...a lil slogan I created because I couldn't hit the casino)
Now I'm back home in San Diego!!! It's been a big ol' reunion with the other UCbound friends that are still in town. I had lunch with Borba & Jordan at Fashion Valley during my first day back. Borba & I also had the pleasant surprise of seeing Chad at the trolley stop ("heeey, that dude looks like Chad...but it's not" lol) I love being racist with my friends too....I'm gonna have to watch what I say at UCI. I don't know how they handle my kinda people :P Anyway, next day was a lovely outting with Vanessa at Fashion Valley, again...but it was about shopping this time! We ended up at Target & me with a fully loaded cart for my dorm :D (6 more days!!!) Then on Friday there was a mini Poli Sci lunch (including Borba, Vanessa, Mark & me). I miss high school-- the ease and comfort of it. And also getting outta school easily because I was in Poli Sci & ASB :P
Lotsa school shopping!!!!!! I'm still not finished & pretty sure that even when I think I'm finished....I probably forgot something that I can't live without. I have quite a few boxes & suitcases to bring up- I hope I didn't overpack. I have a suitcase of clothes, some shoes, my laptop, printer, keyboard, mouse, iPod, camera, bathroom stuff, disinfectants, cleaning supplies, school supplies, lamp, sheets, blanket, and food. And all the electronics come with some kinda wire or cords....ahhhh shiet. I gotta lot of shit.
