My first post on LJ.
So, after lurking around numerous LJ communities (for fanfics... ehehe), I've finally decided to see what all the fuss is about and get a journal myself. Anything is better than Myspace. Xanga died quite a while back... maybe I'll use this more.
Anyway, I guess I'll write about school. School is lame. This is a known fact. But my school is really lame. I really, really hate going to school. I don't really have any close friends, at least by my standard of what a close friend should be.
What do I consider a close friend? Well...
- Someone who you keep in contact with often
- Someone you hang out with both in and out of school
- Someone you can truly depend on in any situation
- Someone you trust deeply and completely
- Someone who understands you and accepts your quirks and oddness
Sure, I've got a few people who could almost be considered a close friend, but no one close enough. It makes me sad that they're aren't that many people like me in my community. No one seems to have similiar interests of mine. For instance, I love CKY. They are my favorite band. Yet, there are only a few people in my city who have even heard of CKY. Maybe, like, three people. Also, I seem to be the only one around here who likes Strangers with Candy, Bill Hicks, and George Carlin. Well, my friend Maritza likes George Carlin now, because I made her read part of my book, "When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?"
Alright, enough writing for now. I should really work on my story now... well, one of them. Damn writer's block.
