On The Road Again...
Not much updating in a while so, in case you didn't catch it in the last entry, my previously handsome boyfriend left me in a rather ugly fashion and I am muddling on. Friends and my local Daddy and my long-distance Daddy have been wonderfully supportive.
Started a new job with the state, same field (HIV prevention). It's good.
Now I'm traveling again and visiting nephews, making up for missing the oldest one's birthday for the first time last August. He's seven and I have just finished being pulled into duty drawing Pokemon characters. Today's best line - His mom, my sister, takes a wee bite of his candy/chocolate duck, an Easter leftover. Unintentionally, a huge chunk comes off and he says, "Woman! That's a huuuge bite!"
And it looks like I'll be getting together, when I'm in Connecticut, with a handsome transman to talk about local community and services. Stay tuned to find out if it turns into a date.
