Part I Part II Somewhere, a phone is ringing. A hand gropes across the bedside table.
"Rosenbaum."
"Um. Mike. Hi. It's, uh, it's Jared."
Mike rolls over and rubs sleep from his eyes, more than a little confused.
"Uh...hey. What's up?"
As he speaks, a strong arm wraps around him from behind, pulling him closer. He smiles and leans back into the embrace.
There's a short pause, then Jared starts speaking in a rush. "I need a favour. And I don't want you to tell anybody about it, or ask any questions, or give me a hard time about it. I just...I need your help."

Mere seconds after Jensen arrives on set, Jared is by his side, grinning and joking and offering him coffee. Jensen is somewhat wary - after all, Jared has been avoiding him for a few weeks now - but accepts the coffee and returns the grins and heads to his trailer. He's surprised when Jared trails after him.
"So, you wanna grab a drink tonight?"
Jensen's a little startled, but shrugs and says, "Sure". It's been a while since they've had a drink together and maybe things can start getting back to normal.
"Great. My place. Oh, hey, I'll let you get ready. I'll see you in a few."
Jared breezes out of the trailer leaving Jensen to stare after him, bewildered.
*****
Jensen fidgets for a few minutes before knocking on Jared's door. He's not exactly sure what he's doing here, which is making him more than a little uncomfortable. By the time he'd emerged from his trailer after the shoot, Jared was gone. Jensen almost took that opportunity to chicken out and go home, but he had a feeling Jared wouldn't let any kind of excuse slide tonight.
Jared throws open the door, energetic as always, and just launches into conversation.
"Man, I'm wired. Beat, but wired. Let me grab some beers. Want to call for a pizza? Get whatever, I'm not fussed."
Jensen raises an eyebrow in a Dean-like way but doesn't protest. He picks up the phone and dials, eyes on the door Jared just went through. Wired, why exactly? He's just hanging up when Jared emerges from the kitchen holding two beers, two shotglasses and a bottle of vodka, still icy from the freezer.
"Sorry, couldn't find the tequila. Guess I'm out. All I have is raspberry vodka."
"Raspberry? Not only is it flavoured vodka, but it's a girly flavour? Man, you suck."
Jared breaks into a grin. "Yeah, well. What can you do? It's this or nothing."
Jensen shakes his head in mock dismay as he relieves Jared of the beers. He opens one and takes a long pull while Jared sets up the shots.
"So, what do you want to drink to?"
There's a cheeky glint in Jared's eyes, but Jensen pretends not to notice. Don't go there.
"How about we drink to getting drunk, huh?"
Jared smirks and tosses back his shot. "Done," he says, pouring himself another. Jensen shakes his head again and downs the vodka. The raspberry lingers as the alcohol burns cold fire down his throat. Jared pours him another.
"To new beginnings," he says solemnly, though there's still the hint of the smile that's been around all day. The kind of smile that a man gets when he's feeling very satisfied with himself ... So, what? Jared's got a new girlfriend? A new ... boyfriend? Jensen doesn't want to think about that. He sure as hell doesn't want to drink to that, but he definitely wants to drink, so he gives a curt nod and downs the shot.
There's bound to be something on the television. Something to dissuade conversation. Jensen grabs the remote and begins to flick through the channels as he sips at his beer.
"Y'know, I've been thinking..." Jared begins conversationally. Jensen just isn't in the mood, which he hopes to convey with a disinterested grunt. It doesn't seem to work though, because Jared snatches the remote, kills the television, and just keeps talking.
"What you said last time we were together. You know...after I kissed you..."
And suddenly Jensen's fully alert and trying to hide it. Eyes fixed on the blank screen. He doesn't know if he wants to hear this or not, but he knows he's about to.
"You were right. It's not fair of me to hold back. To only want to give you part of me. And I understand why you'd rather want none of me than only part."
Jared's moving, but Jensen can't meet his eyes.
"Jensen," and he can't resist that voice, not with that commanding, compelling tone in it. He drags his eyes upwards and his breath catches in his throat. Jared's looking at him, no longer smiling.
"I want to give you everything."
