I've enjoyed looking at other people's Nisei Week photos and videos during the week. I found myself walking across the screen in this random video at about the 5:40 mark.

I haven't uploaded them yet, but at least the hardest part is done. I can still be fairly disciplined if I want to. I guess Nisei Week weekend #2 is in my future for this weekend. Even though last weekend was the big weekend, tomorrow is a long day and probably the longest one. I have friends performing tomorrow, so I'm gonna be there. There's also an outdoor concert that goes on until 10 PM and I really want to see that. I like to be informed about Asian American musical talent. Sunday is taiko day and I really enjoy that. It's also bon odori day and some of you know that I'm a bon odori monster. I enjoy covering Nisei Week and I take a lot of pride in the amount that I cover. It's a slower weekend. I didn't really have a lot of time to do any shopping last weekend, so maybe this weekend, I can. Kick back. Cover what I can.
So, I'm gonna bust my tail this weekend and then that's the last event for this month. I really don't have anything until
FPAC. That's about 3 weeks that I have to try and clear my backlog. The way I've been cranking out these Nisei Week photos, everything from Nisei Week should be online by September. Then I can concentrate on Fanime and Cosplay Underground v. 004, which have really been delayed. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for both of those projects though. The goal is to get everything done by FPAC. The weekend after FPAC is
Mikomicon. I don't know how that's gonna go. Attendance last year was a hair under 1000, but judging by last weekend, people want something to do and Mikomicon had a good presence at Nisei Week. I like Mikomicon. Basically, I'll keep going to a con until they do something to piss me off. Mikomicon hasn't done that yet, so I keep going. There are a few smaller events after Mikomicon, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
I'm a little worn out. I've worked myself pretty hard these past 3 weeks. I just have to make it though this weekend. Green Day show on Tuesday. It's gonna be awesome!
