Thoughts about Nov. 4

First of all, thanks to everybody who sent me birthday wishes yesterday either through LJ or email or phone call, etc.  I really appreciate it and I'm grateful.  Second, happy birthday BoA!!!  BoA is sexy!!!  hahaha

I don't make a big fuss about my birthday.  I went to the gym.  I had an eye exam.  I washed my car.  I voted.  I didn't get any free stuff.  There's a Starbucks one block away from my polling place, but I didn't bother to stop by.  I would have rather had the ice cream or the donut, but those are too far away just to get those small items for free.

Eye exam was fun.  I just go to Lens Crafters because AAA discount is pretty good.  I've been going there for a long time.  It's so convenient.  I got the new doctor, who I never met before yesterday.  When I was waiting in the examination room by myself, I was looking at all of her degrees and certificates on the wall and it seems that she has been a doctor for about 1 1/2 years so I didn't know what to expect.  After a few minutes the doctor comes in and she's a very sexy young Vietnamese woman.  I think everybody who helped me there yesterday was sexy.  Lens Crafters rules!!  Anyways, I had to get new glasses, but they won't be ready for another week because the lenses have to be put on special order.  My prescription didn't change too much, but I think it's time for a change of frames.  My eyes are in good health and that's good because they were doing some weird things earlier in the year.

Anyways, it looks like we have President elect Obama and it wasn't very close as far as electoral votes go.  Hopefully he does some good things for ordinary folks like myself, but lets face it, he inherits a huge mess that isn't going to be fixed overnight.  It looks like people want that high speed rail line to the Bay Area.  I'll be an old geezer by the time it's finished, but there's no better time than now to get to work on it.  Prop. 8 looks like a winner, but that's probably going to get tied up in courts.  People want to help out chickens and cattle.  Honestly, in this state, we treat animals better than we treat ourselves.  Silly Californians.  Parental notification loses again.  Can we stop putting these things on the ballot now?  I'm tired of voting on this issue.

In other news, the mythical 20 bonus downloads for Rock Band 2 have still not become available, more than a day after they were supposed to.  I want my X Japan song for crying out loud.
Vacation continues.  See you guys at PMX.
