Fate was settling in, little by little, to this school, to the thought that she would spend the next four years of her life in this school. She already had a rough routine down, not that it would be very hard to slip into a routine here... The blonde ate with very little mess for a girl who had only just turned eleven- some minor spills would be expected, but Fate's clothing was pristine. She looked up and around as someone passed her, huddling just that bit closer to her food and trying to stay out of the path of any accidental bumps.
If there was one thing Fate couldn't get used to, it was the idea of living in a place where there were more than only a couple people. She remembered Linith, the maid, and her mother, and occasional trips into town- except that those weren't her memories, they were Alicia's. With a quiet sigh to mark her frustration and slight annoyance with herself. The fact is, I am not used to being around this many other people- and most of them seem... more energetic than I am used to. She remembered, from her own experiences and Alicia's, seeing other children playing with loud and boisterous enthusiasm, and Alicia's memories included occasional and enthusiastic games with Linith-
I'm not nearly as... carefree? Enthusiastic? Something like that. Without shaking her head to symbolically shake off the thoughts, as she would have like to do, Fate returned to eating her lunch. She didn't have that long to sit down and eat.
