Shinichi kicked the ball up absentmindedly, bouncing it off his head and catching it neatly, balancing it there for a moment before letting it roll down the back of his head to be kicked back up by his feet, over his head in a high arch, and back down to his feet again. He continued the routine as if by rote - which in fact it was.
Shinichi often used bouncing the ball around as a method of meditation, enabling him to clear his mind and think more clearly on things. Such as how to trigger his powers again. Before, he'd been panicked, scared, and had instinctively reverted to a shape he had felt safest in. Now? He had no clue.
