Who: Alan Wake [its_an_ocean], Lilith [thelootismine] || Closed
Where: Aldale 5
What: Lilith's heard that there's something about the Darkness in Alan's bedside table, something that he isn't telling her, and being as she is, she wants to know.
Warnings: Breaking and entering, and god knows what else.

The redheaded Siren found herself in front of the professor's door in the middle of the day, after Hao's spirits had told her there was something Alan was keeping from her. It was a manuscript, something that had mentions of the Darkness in it.

And of course, she couldn't help but want to see it.

Breaking in wasn't exactly difficult for her--as per part of her bounty hunting habit, she had bought a lock-picking kit and learnt how to use it--but doing it without getting caught in the middle of the day, now that was the tricky part. It took a while, but eventually, she managed to pick the lock and slip in without being noticed, though it was close. Locking the door behind her again, she found herself glancing at the clock constantly, even as she picked the lock to the drawer. That one was slightly less complex, thankfully, and it took her much less time, which left her more time to look at those pages.

As soon as she saw white in the drawer, she grabbed at it, pulling it out into the light and flipping through it, looking for key words. Unfortunately, within a few moments, she got pulled in, paying more attention to the story than what she was actually looking for.

He wasn't famous for no reason. No, he was good, his story was compelling, even if he was the star. Something caught her eye in particular though. The mention of a woman, Alice. His wife.

Since when did Alan have a wife?

A frown slipping on her lips, Lilith glanced at the clock one last time, before going back to the story.

lilith, alan wake
