Menyanthes sat at his desk, one leg crossing the other casually. Although his posture and facial expression were composed and calm, his stomach twirled in nervous excitement. Off in the small kitchenette a pot of tea brewed, made early for the sole purpose of keeping himself busy. He had made sure to complete all of his other work for that day so that he could concentrate solely on this one event.
It was intensely nerve-racking. He wrung his hands, waiting for the dear professor to arrive. As he sat he kept glancing at a thin manila folder on his desk.
They would have much to talk about.
