Characters: Nel and anyone else who feels like it \o\
Summary: Nel has a secret and it keeps making her books implode- must get another one!
Time: Probably mid-afternoon \o
Location: Library
Warnings: None yet... x: possibly imploding furniture but who knows
This was absolutely and totally ridiculous; two years ago Nel would never have seen herself needing to replace her belongings on a weekly basis because they were either a) ripped in half or b) crushed by an invisible plague that would not go away. Her life would be much easier, Nel told herself, if she didn't have any 'super' power. It wasn't super. It wasn't even cool, even if flying was sort of neat.
But as it were gravity manipulation just seemed more of a nuisance than a gift. Perhaps she'd change her mind after a few years and she could manage to stop random spurts of annoyance turning into her classmates being thrown around the room.
... or her textbooks being torn apart. A stop to that would be nice; she disliked causing so much expense without a good reason.
Hopefully there weren't many people around. Nel had noticed that midday had the most people flitting in and out of the library, talking and chatting. Since she liked as much as possible to avoid excess noise she'd waited, almost imploded the desk lamp and finally rushed out to take care of business before she increased the number of her errands. A mostly empty bookbag was slung over one shoulder, and Nel entered the library with as much trepidation as a walking gravity-buster could give off. Please don't let the shelves collapse again, Nel thought grimly.
