Toph walked in, feeling around curiously. "Damn." Her voice was a whisper. "Pretty sure I'm in the library."

"Oh, hello~" Fye said from behind her, looking up from the book he was reading.

She turned, wrinkling her nose. "This is the library, isn't it?" Toph asked dryly.

[lulz_mage]

He beamed. "Well, considering the many books around, I'll put a large wager on it, yes~" Not that he knew if it was the entire place, having only just arrived there himself.

She waved her hand in front of her eyes. "Yeah, I can really tell there's a lot of books." Her voice was sarcastic, but not angrily so.

Fye blinked, then peered at her with curiosity. She was blind. He made a sad face, glad she wasn't able to see it.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize. Yes, I think this is part of the library, at least. I'm afraid I can't say I've been here before."

She shrugged before kneeling on one knee and pressing her palm to the floor. There was a moment's pause. "Alright, so if I go out of here and turn... left at the courtyards, that'll put me at the dorms." She grinned. "You aren't looking for any particular place, are you?"

"Hooo~?" Fye squatted down as he felt some energy radiating from her. "That's some interesting power. You can see ways?" He tilted his head. "And no, I'm not even sure where to go yet, so I'll just wait around here. This place has a lot to read~"

"Me and books aren't the best of friends." She said good-naturedly. "I feel the vibrations in the ground, yeas. It helps to figure out what's going on, and comes in handy when I'm fighting."

"Aw, it's a shame you cannot enjoy them. Books have a lot to offer~" He looked down at her hand on the floor. "So it's some sort of ranged ability then? Every direction has a special vibration?"

Wrinkling her brow in concentration, she pulled a spiraling column of stone out of the floor. "I'm connected to stone itself." She finally answered. She pushed down and the stone sank back into the floor. "I just learned to feel the vibrations so that I could find my way around. I hate being helpless."

He got more and more interested. Teaching a class with children like her would be very amusing and educating. "That is really impressive. Then you are an earth elemental type person, I presume?"

"You presume correctly." She said, standing. She held out a hand. "I'm Toph, and I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're a teacher."

Standing up and shaking her hand in return, he beamed. "Pin pon~ Though, I'm a little early, so I would believe I'm staying in here until someone comes to get me. I'm Fye D. Flourite and it's a pleasure to meet you, miss Toph."

"Just Toph, please. Only one person gets away with calling me Miss Toph, and he's back on Cross." She grinned. "What class or classes will you be teaching?"

"Ma ma, one has to be polite in the beginning. Toph it is, then." He chuckled a little. "I will be in charge of and parttake in the teachings of air and water elementals. I do wonder if they teach it to pupils without affinity for that special power."
