Three updates in one!

I think I want to find a different place to live. My roommates and my lease only go through May, and after that none of us really knows what we will do. We could all sign up for another 6 months, but I'm not sure if that's really what I want, and same with them. They are talking to a friend in New York who has invited them all to come live with her - and if they do that and I stay here, I am stuck finding new roommates or covering the full rent, which I obviously can't do. Also, I don't think I really want to live with them this summer. They're slobs. And they have 5 cats between them. Both their boyfriend's live here much/all of the time and don't pay rent. Also, I was hoping we would all be really good friends and hang out, and while I like them and we get along well, they hang in different circles than I do.

So, I think I will start keeping my eye on Craig's List. Maybe I can find something in Royal Oak, that would be cool. Maybe I'll get my own apartment - I can afford it now and it might be nice to live by myself for a while. Plus I would really, really love to be able to decorate the way I want, and when my mom sells her house, she says I can take any furniture or art I want, so I'll have decent stuff to decorate with.

Yesterday my entire company went to Schoolcraft college for the whole day to learn how to use Microsoft Outlook to its fullest potential. The session was called "Take Back Your Life! Using Outlook to get organized and stay organized" and we all got like these, huge textbooks with the same title. Now, if you're like me, you might say, how can it take an entire day to learn Outlook? And exactly how can it help me "take back my life"? But as I found out, Outlook is one complicated sonovabitch, and there is a LOT you can do with it. I was just using it for my e-mail and somewhat for my calendar, but you can use for much, much more. Apparently it's usually a two-day class. Crazy.

Last night I was so exhausted that all I did was watch Wedding Crashers and then go straigt to bed at 10:30. I have been working like a crazy person. About 54 hours this past week if you count going in to work for a few hours on Sunday. I actually think Outlook will help me work less hours, because I spend so much of my day just trying to manage e-mails. Today I will organize EVERYTHING on my computer for work, and then I will go shopping! I'm getting the urge to buy stuff, and that urge is one powerful mofo. Ladies, you know what I'm talkin about.
