SuperJunior, returning with 1st single ‘U', clarified “SuperJunior will be eternally active”.
When SuperJunior added a new member, transforming themselves into a 13-member group, many fans expressed worry that they would keep rotating members in a second group, third group, etc., like the Japanese female Group Morning Musume.
Recently SuperJunior had a meeting on the spot with reporters at SM Entertainment's main office in Seoul Chungdam Dong and clarified this rumour “We don't know where this talk about a second group, third group, etc. emersed from,” and “We plan to continue being active as SuperJunior as we get older.”
SuperJunior's member Kangin joked “As we get older, I think it would be good if we changed our team name from SuperJunior to 'Super Middle Age' (laughs)”.
In reality, the Super Junior members, unlike the team name, are not young. SuperJunior members have been preparing altogether for their debut since junior high and high school, that's why the word ‘Junior’ refers to the age, whereas the word ‘Super’ possesses the most inspirational meaning of being versatile in acting, singing, MCing etc.
Member Leeteuk, in regard of the preparations for their 1st single album, said “Our hairstyles have got generally shorter and darker for a masculine image” and “We'll show a dance from masculine to sexy, along with pelvic movements”.
