(no subject)
Ok so I am majorly behind in updating aren't I? I apologize greatly for this. I have been busy for the first time in a long time. First of all there was Christmas which took up some time cause I had to obviously shop for gifts for my family and spend time with my family doing some of our yearly traditions. So got Christmas over and done with I had to start preparing myself for school stuff (well realyl I'd been doing this for awhile but it intensified after christmas)...and there was a lot going on over a three day span this past weekend so I feel absolutely drained...
ummm my plan was to be at KU finally this semester and apply for the school of ed by next fall. but the reality of it all was not quite there yet still had a few things to figure out after I talked to an advisor I decided that I want to get all core classes out of the way, even ones that i oculd be taking WHILE i was taking school of ed classes so that when I'm in the school of ed I can just focus on those classes to make sure I do the best I can in them. So in the end I am back at JCCC for a semster to finish some things up then I will have to be at KU for a semester to get somet classes that only they offer then it will be time to apply to the school of ed...so oh joy i'm a juco student again hmph.
I was supposed to start classes today but I had an appointment to take my praxis test...think I did alright...gotta waiton my results to see how I really did. Been studying for it while working on all this other school stuff just added to my stress and I am so glad its finally over and I can relax a bit...
Umm I helped Nicole out as much as I was capable (atleast I hope I did,I really want to be able to do all I could to help you and your mom)
Got to see Miss Jackie Peda the other night. We went and had dinner and margaritas at Jose Peppers. It was fun. I haven't seen her in a very long time, her b/f joined us a for awhile, as did other various employees who joined us for their dinner breaks who remembered Jackie from her stint there over the summer.
Monday I am going to finally make myeslf get up to Warrensburg to see my lovely Wench Jennie. I haven't been up there to see her since we started college and I feel bad for that so I am taking advantage of it being MLK day and the fact that we don't have school and hse doesn't have to work so yay!
my weekends aren't being used for work right now because my work is DEAD there are NO parties for the rest of the month it is insane....so now my weekens are being used doing a project for my grandfather that invovles scanning slides to make digital prints out of them. He is paying me 50 cents a slide...which doesn't seem like much maybe to some..but he has 1200 slides...so it will really add up. Honostly I don't even want him paying me lol but my grandfather likes to take care of me when I do things for him.
So now I am going finish watching GHI in HD because my battery on my laptop is about to die because I'm downstairs and it's not plugged in. so have a good night everyone! Keep in touch!!!
