The weekend, a blur of working and Deadwood episodes... tainted by my friend's misfortunes. On Friday night, the night of my friend's birthday, myself and another friend convinced him to finally go to the hospital for this stabbing pain he was experiencing in his side. The poor guy was in a little gown until about 8 am, waiting for a CAT scan. It turns out he has some viral infection on his GI tract, but not the big deal we were worried it was... I suppose it was a shitty birthday, what with the being in pain for days prior to, and then cooped in the hospital during.
