(no subject)
Well, officially moved into the new place. Got internet on Wednesday which was the final thing left to do. It is so unbelievably nice to have my stuff back. So far my mother-in-law has only made one surprise visit, I'm anticipating more to come. She was here 20 minutes, which was 20 minutes too long. All three of us were here and basically gave her the cold shoulder until she awkwardly left. I can't stand her and the only reason we let her in at all is because she gave birth to Ben and his brother. Is that terrible?
Ben got a new computer in the mail on Wednesday and didn't actually get it working until last night at about 11pm. Apparently it hadn't been formatted correctly or something before it was shipped. He couldn't log in and when he would try to reinstall none of the drivers were showing up. I think he spent about 6 or 7 hours on the phone with tech people who had no idea what to do. The very last one he talked to was the only one who was able to fix it. So now he's all excited to have his weekend off so he can play until his eyes bleed. Which is fine since I have to work.
Tomorrow I'm playing my violin for a family friend. Every year Rapids does a garden walk program where people who have beautiful gardens can have an open house type thing. People buy tickets and get to go around to the different gardens and walk though oooing and aaaing. So I'm going to be sitting in a corner of her garden playing while people walk through. She's paying me to do it and I would much rather be there then at work. (I asked off for this yay)
All done with summer school now, my last day was Tuesday. It was fun and I will probably do it again next year if they ask me. They put me on the subbing list for the rest of summer so we'll see if I get called at all. Otherwise it's back at the hotel again until regular school starts and I can start subbing.
We get insurance in 22 days!! It's exciting since we haven't had any since we turned 21. Ben needs the dentist sooooo badly it's not even funny.
