bzzz...
Summer classes are over and only a little more than two weeks before school starts again...
Hmm... here's what I've been up to lately:
Real life:
Brought my dad to the airport today yesterday. It''l be another 10 months before I see him again. We aren't that close but it seems that with his last visit, we began getting along a bit better than in past instances.:D
Haaa... I need to learn how to drive soon. I'm a bit excited about this... but I'm sure I'm gonna be everybody's driver here at home. >_<
Looking over at my sched for next sem... Haxx! I'm taking majors except for PI 100. Wooh. Goodluck to me.
I wanna go somewhere. I don't know where... as long as it's a place that's new to me. In other words, outing! But the family's already gon on two outings this summer (without me. Stupid summer classes...) and outings with friends are hard to organize and need a lot of parent convincing. Oh well. I guess I'll settle for sleeping to kill my boredom. XD
Anime:
Gurren Lagann! Somebody called this a "mecchi" series, portmanteau for mecha and ecchi. The mecha designs are... wtf. Really. They're like giant faces with arms and legs. Think Bleach's Dondochakka. :o But since this series is produced by Gainax, the main villain's mecha somewhat resembles an eva unit. Gurren Lagann (the protagonists' mecha) also looks a bit better than the others. Oh, and the villains are furries. Do not want! >_< As of now, I'll give this a 6 out of 10 just because I'm looking forward to how the story develops. (Incidentally, I've watched up to episode 6)
Lucky Star! All I can say is that... it rocks! :D 9.5 out of 10. (Bonus points to those who can guess why.)
