Thank you for your concern, and a special thanks for making me feel bad and like a pathetic loser.
No, it's not shitty that I work late on new years eve. I chose to work because I'm not big in new years eve celebrations. No, it's not because I don't get to participate in new years eve celebrations, and that's why I'm not a fan of them. That doesn't even make sense. I never have been too fond of them and never will, so stop making me repeat that over and over again. Stop pressuring me to go clubbing, I seriously don't want to deal with that jazz. Hence, I might as well work. I think that's pretty kosher no?
I'm not bitter or a party-pooper! I'm just not big on these commercialised holidays. Besides, I could really use this time to catch up on sleep, and I can definitely live without the extra calories from alcohol.
