Queen...of the Furrow???

So i havent written in my livejournal since..well forever, but I decided that tonight I have some interesting (well to anyways) to write in it. So anyways, today was the Ottawa-Carleton plowing match, and a couple of days ago I got a call asking if I wanted to compete for the Queen of the Furrow for OC, and I said sure. So I get there today only to find out that I was the only interested party! so I am it...gave my speech, got my crown and sash and away I go! for all of those who are wondering just what a queen of the furrow is, its like the female representative for the agricultural and plowing community. Its kinda cool, i get to travel around meeting people and giving speeches and the likes...so anyways..thats my news...im going to bed now...
