(no subject)
The weekend so far has been really fun, but also not so good as I have felt really ill.
Steph's bowling party was really fun, Rosie won the first game, I won the second. In the second game I got 1/2 strike, strike, 1/2 strike, strike, then got put off by everyone and the fact that they were trying to put the barriers down to give a handicap. Although that wouldn't have made any difference because unlike everyone else, I bowl hard and fast down the middle of the lane, they bounce the ball off all the sides... :p
Also decided I really like Hollywood Bowl because throughout the evening they played loads of my favourite songs. And they also played Merry's worst song, Enrique Iglesias one, that goes 'I can be your hero baby.... I can kiss away the pain....' It got into my head, and I kept singing it to Mez and she got really annoyed and started hitting me :D
Friday I woke up and thought I had tonsillitis, so wen to the doctors and he confirmed it. He did say it would be a good idea to take my tonsils out, but not necessary at this point. I didn't feel too bad Friday, which was good.
Saturday I was intending on getting up to go to dancing, then catching a bus to Beaumont Leys for badders, but I felt too ill, so I went early to Rich's birthday party instead, but all I really felt like doing was going to sleep on the sofa, as I didn't sleep at all the night before. (I went babysitting Friday night as well, hopefully Charlotte wont have caught anything from me...) Watched Takeshi's Castle and Extreme Dodgeball which were very funny. I still think Mez should have a career in dodgeball, she's very good at it, especially the dodging part... I would like that too, although I would be happy doing any kind of sport for a living.
Rich's party went well and it was really fun. Certain people got very drunk...
I had some lager and wine on an empty stomach, then went on the trampoline, but when I came off, I fell straight down the steps, knocking over a plant pot on the way, which actually really hurt. My knee is really sore now... Decided to stick to water after that.
Gonna leave it as that because I want to go and watch Steve Irwin :)
