I forgot how much more relaxed I feel after a leisurely visit to the library.
Checked out a copy of Incorrigible, a book I've always wanted to read- an autobiography of a woman who was sent to a reformatory in the '30s for having an affair with a Chinese man, a DVD version of The Laramie Project, and an intermediate Italian language course. Bought a coffee (they're cheapest there) and a copy of Life of Pi for a buck from the book sale.
Earlier today I splurged and bought a full-size rainbow flag from Jungle- remember that store, Kaitlyn? We went there last time you were here- I can't remember what you bought- maybe it was those little chopstick holder things? I wasn't going to get one, but I've always wanted one, and flags are cheaper there than at the actual flag store up the street.
Because of the rainbow flag, my apartment smells like hippies (the store I bought it from was filled with damn hippie incense).
