My roommate is being so cute. Tomorrow is her very first day at her new school, after an entire year of not being a student, so she's been bitten hard by the back-to-school bug. She spent all day getting her binders ready and labeling them and deciding whether to use her laptop to take notes and reading over her syllabi, and she just packed herself a very fancy back-to-school lunch (although she doesn't have a Pocahontas lunchbox, as far as I can tell). Everybody, on three: AWW.
I was really excited to go buy some signature Montreal bagels today, as I've been putting it off for awhile, but the bagels I got were stale! In fact my mouth kind of hurts from eating them now.* I did have a lovely walk, though, and I got to wear my Newsies hat, which is one of my favorite things ever.
*Nevertheless, they are SO GOOD. I had four and a half today and that's all I ate except a kiwi and some cereal and some tea. Mmm. Bagels.
