Today is a sad day: after a week alone at home, my parents came back. It was some kind of shock! I really want them to go away again!! It felt so good to be alone!! XD
But it's not that what I want to talk about...
I finished the first part of the Centon fic featuring their son! It's some kind of science fiction, but I really don't care...

snapsnapsabby RAW had just gone off air, and all the superstars were in their locker rooms talking about the great show they had. John was in the Legacy locker room, chatting with Randy, Ted and Cody about their matches and planning about going out for a few drinks after leaving the arena. They always hung out together after the shows. They were all good friends, so they enjoyed having fun together.
Randy and John were already fully dressed, and they were waiting for the other two, who competed in the main event, to finish getting ready, so they could go together. But their plans changed a bit when they heard someone knocking at the door hard and fast. Orton was the nearest to the door, so he opened it to see who knocked. His eyes met the ones of Stephanie McMahon.
“Hey Steph, what’s up?” he asked, a little surprised to see her there.
“Randy, can I talk to you and John for a moment, please?” she said with a polite smile on her face, the one she used when she wanted to talk about business.
The third generation superstar nodded his head yes, sure that she wanted to tell them something about their next appearances on the show, maybe together. That should have been pretty cool! So he stepped aside and held the door open, so that Stephanie could step in. But she didn’t. She glanced at Ted and Cody and then added “Alone.” to her words.
A look of confusion appeared on Randy’s face. What was so private that she couldn’t talk about in front of their friends? And then suddenly he realized. He realized that she found out. But they had been so careful, he was sure that nobody saw them! Or maybe…
He turned back to face the inside of the room. Cody and Ted were drying their hair while chatting with Cena. They knew everything about it but they were friends, they promised to never tell anybody. They couldn’t have told it to Stephanie!
“Look Steph, I’m really sorry. We both are. We didn’t do it on purpose, it was an accident! It was your husband’s fault, ok? We thought it was his!” Randy hastened to say, waving his hands in every direction.
“What are you talking abo-” the woman’s words just stopped when she realized what the man in front of her was saying.
“So it was you? You and John sent my luggage on the wrong plane?” she yelled.
Orton froze. So that was not what Stephanie wanted to talk about. And he just messed things up.
‘Shit!’ he thought, looking straight into Steph’s eyes and blushing.
“No, no, just kidding!” he tried to save himself.
For some reason, he got lucky. Stephanie had so many things to think about that she didn’t want to waste her time with the ‘luggage accident’. At least not now. So she stopped just a moment before starting to talk again, she shook her head and she just spit out a quick “So, you’re coming?” before walking along the hall.
Randy let out a sigh of relief, then turned to face his friends, who now were all staring at him. They didn’t hear the whole conversation, but they understood that something strange was going on.
“John, she wants to talk to us. Let’s go, I don’t want to make her angrier!” Orton said in a rush.
“Yeah, I’m coming!” Cena answered.
“If we’re not back before you’re ready, we’ll catch up with you two at that pub close to the hotel.” he added addressing Ted and Cody.
Then the two of them walked out the locker room with their bags on their shoulders and ran for a few steps to catch up with the Chairman’s daughter.

They walked through a couple of halls, then they reached a room that looked empty. While walking in, Stephanie turned the light on and they all could see a man wearing a John Cena t-shit sat on a chair close to a round table. The surprise nearly made Randy jump, and the lost look on his face made his friend chuckle.
“Were you hiding in here or something?” Orton asked to the man, making John and Steph laugh.
The serious look on the man’s face didn’t change a bit.
He sure was a strange guy. But looking at him better, Randy could tell that he knew who he was. He was an actor, the protagonist of the movie Step up. He hated that film, but Sam forced him to watch it twice. Anyway he always thought the guy looked some way familiar.
“John, Randy, this is Channing Tatum. He’s an actor, his agent contacted the WWE so he could have a first row seat tonight. He said he wanted to talk to the two of you.” Stephanie introduced the man.
Now John could recognize him. He was the guy in the seat behind Jerry Lawler and Michel Cole that never took his eyes off of him all over his match. It was a bit weird. And now that he could see him a little closer, he also could tell he looked familiar. He felt a strange sensation, like he already met him, like he knew him well. But it wasn’t possible, was it? It was the first time he saw him!
In complete confusion, Randy and John waved their hands to Channing and murmured their names. Hearing them, the other man chuckled and dimples appeared on his face. Now he looked even more familiar, so much that it sent shivers through Cena’s back.
“I know who you are!” Tatum said smiling embarrassed, allowing his dimples to grow deeper.
“Thank you a lot, Mrs. McMahon” he addressed to Stephanie.
“Oh, call me Steph!” she exclaimed, and she winked at him before heading out of the room and shutting the door closed after her.
So the three men were there alone. One sat, two standing. The actor suddenly started to blush, for apparently no reason. He now felt so uncomfortable, and the tension was spreading all over the room. Even Randy and John started to feel it. But they were curious too. What that guy wanted to talk to them about?
“Please, take a seat. I don’t think you want to stand during this talk.” Channing said, pointing two of the other chairs.
He was sure about the fact that they had to sit down: what he had to say was going to shock them too much. And he had no doubts about it even if he still hadn’t figured out where to start from.
The professional wrestlers looked at each other for a moment and then they moved two chairs to sit in front of the other man.
There was a moment of silence. They were so close that it was easier to recognize what earlier just seemed familiar about Channing.
“Look, John. He has your face! At least the upper part. Your forehead, your eyebrows, your cheekbones, your eyes shape. And also your dimples!” Randy said, his eyes wide open in shock.
Now that Orton said that, also John could see it by himself. That was the most absurd thing he’d ever seen in his whole life! But that wasn’t enough. He was seeing something else of familiar in Channing’s face.
“Oh my God, you’re fucking right!” he said.
“But he also has the lower part of your face! Look at the chin, and the mouth: those are totally your lips! And also… There’s something in the eyes, I can’t say what…” John was shocked as much as his best friend, and confused.
Randy nodded. Neither him nor John could understand why that actor was looking so much like them. They were so lost in their own thoughts that the idea of Channing being embarrassed by their comments never crossed their minds.
Tatum stayed silent, blushing a little more with every word the other two said. He knew it was time to explain why he was there, but it was so difficult!
“I know I look like you two, grandpa always said that when he was alive…” he started to say, his voice still and serious, but he was interrupted before he could continue.
“Was your grandfather a wrestling fan?” John asked with a big smile, showing his dimples.
Channing swallowed and scratched the back of his head.
“He was a pro wrestler. A good one. And both my parents also are pro wrestlers.” he answered.
He saw that Randy was ready to ask something else, but he was faster and resumed his speech.
“The fact that I look so much like you is kinda the reason why I’m here. We’re some way related, and that’s what I want to talk to you about…” he said, shaking a little on his seat, looking for a more comfortable position.
But he knew that there wasn’t a position comfortable enough to make it easier to say what he had to.
Randy was confused like he never was before. How could they be related? Ok, maybe he could be the son of some cousin of his father’s that he never knew existed, but how could he be related to both him and John?
John instead was starting to understand something. A huge grin appeared on his face while he slapped his hand on Randy’s back hard enough to make him cough.
“I knew it, dude! Last time our parents met I’m pretty sure that my father looked at your mother a little too much! Now we’ve got a consistent proof that they had an affair in the past: this is our brother!” he said with conviction, maybe a little too much excited.
“What the fuck are you saying?” Orton shouted, starting to cough again.
That wasn’t funny. His mother and John’s father? No way! That really wasn’t what he wanted to hear! Not that there really was something he wanted to hear, but for God’s sake not that!
Cena was ready to explain his point of view in a better way, but someone decided to intervene to stop him.
“I’m not your brother, I’m your son!”
Silence fell like a rock on the two wrestlers’ heads. Son? What the hell was he talking about? John had no kids, Randy had a daughter who was less than an year old, and that man looked to be about their age… They really couldn’t understand what he was saying.
It took a couple of minutes before John could find the words to explain what was flying over his mind.
“I really don’t understand. Whose son are you?” he asked without caring about giving his voice a tone.
“Your son.” Channing answered.
“Of both of you. You’re my dad” he looked into John’s eyes saying that “and you’re my… Well, technically you’re my mom, but I’ve always called you dad, too.” this time he looked into Randy’s eyes.
Orton opened and closed his mouth a few times before he could le out a sound.
“I’m nobody’s fucking mom!” he yelled angrily “I only have a daughter, and I’m her fucking father!” he emphasized the last word.
“Two men can’t have kids, you’re about our age and I really don’t like the idea of having sex with Randy. Channing, are you drunk or something?” John said in a friendly way: now he was sure that all of that was just a joke. A very stupid one.
“I’m not drunk!” Tatum replied.
“And Channing Tatum is totally not my name. It’s a fake one, ‘cause I can’t use my real one here… It should just be too weird.” and saying this he took his ID out of one of the pockets of his jeans, handing it to John.
Cena read the name and froze. He looked in the guy’s eyes, then he turned to face his best friend.
“Look at this. It doesn’t seem a fake.” he said.
Randy took the ID from his hands to read by himself.
“Randal Felix Cena. April 26, 2015.” Orton needed a moment to understand what he had just read.
“What?” he was so shocked that he didn’t even noticed he had squeaked.
“Come on, Randy, we’re talking about someone who’s claiming to come from the future and to be the son of two men! Don’t get so upset, he’s joking!” John said, but this wasn’t what he was thinking.
Cena was slowly starting to believe that guy’s words.
“Yeah, you’re right. This can’t be true. Nice try Channing, you frightened the hell out of me, but I’m not falling for this anymore.” the other wrestler breathed, giving the ID in his hands back to its owner.
“So you don’t believe me, do you?” the actor’s voice now sounded sad.
He really wanted them to believe him. He had a mission to accomplish, and to do that he needed his ‘fathers’ to understand who he really was. But they were for sure not making it easy!
Suddenly he jumped on his feet, slamming his right hand on the table near him. He couldn’t take it anymore. He wanted them to believe him, and he damn was going to make them believe him, even if he had to force them to!
“Do you need more proofs? I have pictures of your marriage, of my birth, of our life together!” and with those words he took a little pictures album out of one of his pockets and he threw it on the table with rage.
John was the first one to reach it. He opened it and started to go through the pages, with Randy looking curiously over his shoulder. Every page there was a picture of them together. Randy and him. And then a baby appeared in the pictures, and he became older and older in every shot. It was possible to feel through the pictures how much the child had been loved.
In the last picture there were the three of them together. John and Randy seemed to be in their fifties, but their bodies were still in a good shape. ‘Randal’ was in his early twenties, or maybe just a little older. He wasn’t too different from how they could see him in front of them. The two older men were side by side, hugging each other with an arm. Their son was before them, in the center, and they were both hugging him with the other arm. They seemed an happy family, but looking with more attention it was obvious that something wasn’t right. They were all smiling, but their smiles were sad.
Orton and Cena couldn’t stop looking ad that picture. Every single shot in that album shocked them more than the previous one, but not that one. Looking at that picture made them feel nostalgic, confusing them even more than how they already were.
The happy and smiling faces from the other pictures made them feel some way good, comfortable. They made them understand that growing up a child together wasn’t a terrible thing. But not the last picture. It was painfully sad.
John lifted up his eyes to meet his son’s ones, in a silent request of an explanation for that picture.
“We took that the day I set off. It was after grandpa Bob’s funeral. I was so depressed, and you suggested me to time travel, saying that going back in time could have helped me. But when I arrived here my time travel machine got broken, and I can’t go back home. The first time travel machines will be released in 2032…” Randal explained to his father.
Hearing that, Randy also lifted his head up to look at the man. He quickly glanced at John, and he could understand that his friend was now believing what ‘that Randal Cena’ was saying. Cena now believed that the guy in front of them was their son.
Orton instead was a lot more skeptical. The pictures sure were a really convincing proof, but it wasn’t enough for him. It still was too awkward to him.
“How long have you been here?” he asked in a perplexed tone.
“Six years.” Randal suddenly answered. “I haven’t seen the ‘older you’ for six long years.” he sighed.
“Randy, that was gross!” John exclaimed in shock, hitting his friend in the chest with an elbow.
He thought that the way Orton asked that question wasn’t the right one. Couldn’t he see that ‘their son’ was upset? That was a rude approach!
“No, it’s ok.” their son said, shrugging.
“Does it mean that you believe me now?” he asked.
John nodded. Randy stayed still, saying nothing. He wasn’t sure about anything.
Orton’s reaction wasn’t very reassuring, but at least he wasn’t shouting against Randal. So he thought it was the time to talk abut the most important topic.
“So now I think it’s time to explain why I came to talk to you today.” Randal started his speech.
“I’ve been here for years, trying to find out how things were doing between the two of you. At first everything was okay, but now it’s not like that anymore. You were supposed to get together a couple of month after that ugly bitch Samantha left dad Randy, more than an year ago.” he explained, but he was interrupted before he could say more.
“Hey, wait a moment! Sam never left me, and ‘more than an year ago’ she was pregnant!” Randy said all of a sudden.
“Yeah, that’s exactly the problem! Where I come from, Alana never existed! More exactly, she existed but she wasn’t yours. From what I’ve always been told, Samantha left you after finding out that she was pregnant with another man’s baby, then you found out that dad John have kinda always been in love with you and you started dating. But now nothing went the way it should have had! And I think that everything is related with me being trapped here. I have somewhat damaged the space-time continuum! That’s why I came here to fix things up.” Randal put a lot of emphasis in his explanation.
He really hoped to have made himself clear. He knew it was hard for his young parents to understand and to accept what he just told them, but he had no other choice but to talk to them. He had to hurry to fix everything, because he was so scared that if they didn’t get together soon then he wasn’t going to be born.
Randy stayed silent, keeping repeating in his mind the only thing that he really listened about all that conversation: Alana wasn’t his daughter. Was it possible? Did Sam really cheat on him? All of a sudden he felt the urge to break someone’s face.
John, instead, listened carefully to every single word, even blushing a little when his son said that he’d always been in love with Randy. That was true, but nobody knew it, so it was another proof that Randal was saying the truth.
After listening to what his son had to say, he started to think about what to say back. That really wasn’t an easy situation. He was living a normal life, and then all of a sudden some guy arrived and said that he and his best friend with whom he’d always been in love had to get together.
What was he supposed to do? He couldn’t kneel before his best friend, promise him undying love and suggest him to have a beautiful baby together. Randy would have rejected him! He never sensed anything coming from his friend that could at least seem that kind of love for him.
The only thing that John Cena could do was to let his son know that he was going to do everything in his power to fix the space-time mess he did.
Without even thinking about what he was doing, he stood up and put on the table the pictures album he was still holding in his hands. Then he took a step towards Randal, so they could look into each other’s eyes. And then he hugged him.
Randal lost himself in that hug, so similar to the ones he was used to receive as a boy. He held his father back tight, leaning down his head to press his face on John’s chest.
“I missed you, dad…” he whispered.
Those words made John feel even more uncomfortable then he was before. Not knowing how he should act, he decided to whisper back a soft “I’m here now.” and to start rubbing rhythmically his back.
Randy looked at that scene with his eyes wide open. He couldn’t believe how John could be sweet with a man that a couple of hours ago for him was just a face on some movie posters.
Anyways, he couldn’t help but thinking that John and Randal hugging like that were cute. Looking at them, the only thing he could think about doing was to stand up and join them. All of a sudden that was the more logical thing on his mind.
And so he did.
