So, my laptop is completely dead. Some ridiculously tiny piece of metal broke off from the hole where the power adaptor connects, and now I have no way to recharge. The extended warranty has expired (apparently they last less than a year). Acer refuses to fix it, Futureshop won't even talk to us, and computer repair shops want to charge me $400 just to look at it. I'd be better off getting an entirely new laptop than trying to repair the piece of crap I have now.
This should not be this difficult.
P.S - The Leafs lost to the Senators. Again.
