Wings and Things: Bandom Characters who have wings, but are still human. Also referred to as wing!fic.

Here is a place to hide (in my wings, in my heart) by evolia
Pairing: Nate/Brendon
Rating: PG-15
Summary: He manages to turn, looking down at Nate, at his smile. He seems unfazed, he seems okay, not startled, not anything. Brendon feels suddenly fucking glad that this time, they’re touring with the Cobras.
This one is quite short, but it's sweet and sort of breaks your heart at the end. It's got quite a calm feel to it, like nothing between them is rushed. I can't say that much about the plot without giving it away, but the summary does a pretty good job of explaining.

Of All The Angles by ofkitchensinks
Pairing: Bob/Mikey (but it feels like a Bob/Gerard for a little while)
Rating: PG
Summary: it's not like bob woke up one morning with wings.
Ignore the non-capitalization. It's a little heart breaking, but that's what makes it memorable. It's also sweet and realistic and all about Bob. It's not pairing-centric, which is refreshing, but it does give you a little boost at the end.

We Use Our Wings to Swim by formerlydf
Pairing: Almost Cobra GSF, but mostly Gen
Rating: PG
Summary: Nate sleeps on his stomach, but whenever he hears noise anywhere near his bunk he automatically rolls onto his side, wings between his body and the wall. It's just a habit.
It's a very different view on both the Cobra break-up and wing!fic. Nate has wings and Eliza annoys him. Vicky-T, however, does not. That's not all that happens, but that's my favourite part of the plot.

Shimmer by disarm_d
Pairing: Spencer/Brendon
Summary: Spencer starts noticing strange things.
The summary does not even begin to explain this. Brendon is a fairy, love is involved, his wings explain stuff to them. Honestly, it's a pretty effective way of knowing whether or not your love is returned. It's not technically wing!fic, but Brendon has wings, so it works.
